InformationWeek reports that a glitch in the system allowed four credit card numbers to be indexed in a Google search from the social site, Blippy.com, where you can share information about things you’ve purchased.

To both Google’s and Blippy’s credit, both companies have acted quickly to remove the credit card information from public access. However, the card numbers continue to be shared across the internet and those four credit card users remain at high risk for identity theft.
